::Director of Private Equity Fund AccountingOverviewAs the Director of Private Equity Fund Accounting, your role will be pivotal in leading a team of fund accountants to ensure the timely and accurate preparation and delivery of financial statements and reports.Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of fund accountants and ensure the timely and accurate preparation and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, investor reports, capital calls, and distributions for the private equity funds.
• Review and approve fund valuations, reconciliations, audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance reports.
• Develop and implement robust accounting policies, procedures, and controls to maintain the highest standards of financial integrity and compliance.
• Oversee the waterfall calculation process, ensuring compliance with the fund\xe2\x80\x99s governing documents, and managing a team responsible for the accurate distribution of capital gains.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including fund managers, investors, auditors, tax advisors, administrators, and custodians.
• Provide technical guidance and support on complex accounting and reporting matters, such as fair value measurement, consolidation, and allocation.
• Drive process improvements and spearhead automation initiatives to elevate the efficiency and quality of the fund accounting function.

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• A CA or CPA designation or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• A minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience in fund accounting or related financial services, with a focus on private equity.
• Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and mentor a team of professionals.
• Excellent communication skills for clear and concise reporting and stakeholder engagement.
• An innovative mindset to lead process improvements and implement automation solutions.
