Purpose of role:Director Finance for India- To manage and supervise Financial Operation activities for CWT India BusinessMain Responsibilities:xc2xb7 Financial accountso Ensure reliability and integrity of financial statements and reports to ensure compliance with established company policies, generally accepted accounting principles, and local regulations and laws.o Responsible for quarterly and year-end financial reporting and consolidation packages.xc2xb7 Systemso Implement managed new systems based on global timelines and processxc2xb7 Internal control and protection of assetso Enhance governance over accounting processeso Ensure that adequate internal control procedures over assets and operations are implemented and followed.o Ensure that assets are properly accounted for and safeguarded from loss.o Control commitments as per CAPEX (Capital Expenditure) procedures and authorizations.o Implement Standard Operating Procedures and ensure compliance.o Improvement of financial operational processes, financial controls, and procedureso Close all open Audit items, submit FICA, etc on a timely basis, and implement recommendationsxc2xb7 Focus on Casho Improve cash flow through proper credit managemento Improve cash and working capital actual and forecastingo Minimize levels of overdue debts. Initiate proceedings to ensure outstanding debts are brought to a satisfactory conclusion and reduce DSOxc2xb7 Optimize finance functionso Whilst ensuring compliance with CWT policies and guidelines, ensure optimum utilization of resources at best cost.o Recommend, implement, and manage improvements and cost reduction programs.xc2xb7 External relationshipso Manage and coordinate relationships with:xc2xa7 Statutory auditorsxc2xa7 Tax and legal authorities and controllers (with prior notice and constant information in the event of tax audit).xc2xa7 Banks and financial institutions (within CWT Group policies and guidelines)xc2xa7 Finance outsourcingxc2xb7 Ensure delivery of services as contracted, communicate the CWT requirements and business prioritiesxc2xb7 Resolve escalated issues under the Governance escalation proceduresxc2xb7 Identify and agree on additional transformation opportunities and oversee the implementation of the agreed initiativesxc2xb7 Internal controls required for both the retained organization and outsourced staff and activitiesxc2xb7 Legal representationso On an individual basis, may be nominated as a company officer, company representative, board member, or general manager for temporary or permanent tax, legal, or management representation purposes.xc2xb7 Otherso Review, maintain, and update office lease status with the global real estate teamo Work closely with the Global tax team on HQA management fee billingo Review and oversee day-to-day treasury matters and work closely with the Global Treasury teamQualificationsExperience & Education:xc2xb7 Experience : Minimum 10 years experience in Financial Operations leadership position (including PTP, RTR, and OTC)Qualification:-o Degree in Business/ Finance/ Accounting or Chartered Accountant/ ACCA or CPAo Experience with US GAAP or have worked with the big 4 firmso Experiences with an outsourced environment would be an advantagexc2xb7 Languageso English Fluentxc2xb7 Knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs)o Leadershipo Passiono Caringo IntegrityOthers:-Knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs)o Self-motivated individual with strong problem-solving skills.o Ability to set priorities and work in a fast-paced multicultural environmento Ability to work and communicate with different levels, including senior managemento Strong communication skillso Excellent in Excel and Hyperion reporting toolo Meticulous and process-oriented
