We are committed to leveraging data as a competitive advantage and are seeking a Director of MDM to join our team at the Global Capability Centre in Bengaluru, India.: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Master Data Management to lead our enterprise team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing master data management solutions using the latest tools and technologies, with a particular focus on processes, policies, governance, and standards. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of data quality, data integration, data modeling, data cataloging, and data governance as well as experience with generative AI in the master data context.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement MDM strategies, policies, and procedures to manage master data assets effectively in compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Deploy and maintain MDM systems, tools, and technologies aligned with business objectives. Oversee MDM tools and technology selection and implementation for company-wide governance of master data objects.
• Lead MDM initiatives related to the implementation of SAP S/4HANA, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with enterprise-wide systems.
• Oversee the staged deployment of MDM solutions, managing the rollout process across different phases and ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Direct the planning and execution of data migration strategies, ensuring data integrity and continuity during the transition to new systems.
• Develop and implement methods for harmonizing data across multiple business units, fostering consistency and accuracy in enterprise data management.
• Develop and implement MDM strategies, policies, and procedures to manage master data assets effectively in compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of MDM processes and workflows to enhance data quality and reliability.
• Develop and maintain a master data management process framework that includes data quality, data security, data privacy, data retention, data orchestration and data access for data objects such as Products, Business Partners and Finance objects.
• Establish and maintain a comprehensive data governance framework, including defining data stewardship roles, responsibilities, and escalation procedures.
• Work with data and technology teams to integrate MDM policies, processes, and controls into all systems and applications.
• Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in MDM and data governance, identifying opportunities for innovation.
• Drive change management initiatives to promote adoption of MDM processes and governance practices across the organization.
• Manage a team of master data process champions, technologists and experts, interfacing with various business functions and data platform teams.
• Develop and deliver master data management training programs to ensure that all stakeholders understand their role in managing master data.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master\'s degree preferred.
• Professional Experience: 20+ years of experience in master data management, data management, or a related field.
• Technical Expertise: Experience with MDM technologies like SAP MDG, Reltio, Informatica, Stibo, augmented master data management with machine learning, workflow orchestration with SAP Fiori, Talend, and Collibra.
• Leadership: Proven ability to manage high-performing teams, build relationships, and hold external service partners accountable.
• Stakeholder Management: Experience working with business stakeholders and technology teams to manage master data effectively.
• Project Management: Strong project management skills and experience managing complex MDM projects.
• Executive Relationships: Exceptional executive-level relationship-building skills with the ability to influence others.
• Program Execution: Demonstrated experience leading large-scale programs and operating in a fast-paced, business-critical environment.
• Communication Skills: Excellent persuasion, negotiation, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
