ResponsibilitiesA highly motivated Director for Digital Commerce & Web Development portfolio accountable to lead all aspects of portfolio, program and agile delivery responsibilities to meet an aggressive strategic initiatives and customer experience goal. The leader will provide strategic/tactical leadership and oversight for creating, sustaining, implementing, and driving efficient and effective project portfolio management in support of business objectives. The position requires significant interaction with cross-functional departments within the company, collaboration across other technology portfolios, and excellent communication and relationship management skills to influence team and resolve issues.This role must be comfortable operating with various levels of the organization and across functions and geographies. This role must be able to influence leaders to drive change and alignment.This role will be involved in providing leadership to the GCC Digital Commerce & Web development teams to create, sustain, implement, and drive an efficient high-performing team to achieve business objectives.Responsibilities
  • Accountable for delivery the strategic business initiatives that are linked to Revenue targets.
  • Involved in the right decision making with the global portfolio leaders.
  • Collaborate closely with Infosys and Waters team to build strong foundation for Waters Digital Commerce capability and future strategy planning for Web IT.
  • Ensure cross-value stream coordination and collaboration.
  • Delivery Responsible for multiple products within portfolio.
  • Work in close collaboration with existing portfolio - attracting right talent and build one Waters culture.
  • Effectively manage the knowledge retention and develop a core team of experts with Waters process and development methodologies.
  • Coach a strategy for execution alignment across teams to produce and deliver the highest quality software products, predictable pace and with consistent velocity.
  • Oversight and development of communication path to steering and executive committees on Program progress.
  • Ensure best practice, business-oriented estimation processes are implemented and followed.
  • Ensure software development standards and best practices are being implemented & followed.
  • Plan the effective resource allocation model based on the business priorities in close collaboration with global peers.
  • Focus on building strong Digital Commerce capability and next level leadership at Waters GCC.
  • Concentrate on developing execution leaders, Scrum Masters and closely partnering with the Product Owner(s)/BA\xe2\x80\x99s, Chapter Leads and key business stakeholders to guide the value stream.
  • Manage the cross-value stream coordination and collaboration.
  • Strong people management and stake holder management expertise.
  • Collaborate with strategic partner & Waters Web Leadership to implement processes/solutions to improve KPIs, team member performance and team morale.
  • Work closely with GCC Leadership in formulating strategic programs and initiatives for the GCC and build the GCC roadmap.
  • Enable effective decision making and risk/return tradeoffs using quantitative and qualitative delivery metrics.
Portfolio Management and Leadership
  • Fosters a business-oriented culture and mindset driven by continual service improvement techniques.
  • Guide large Digital portfolio comprising of various programs around Digital Commerce, Digital Experiences, Search, Digital Marketing and Digital technologies.
  • Drive strategic prioritization process for new initiatives aligned to company goals and objectives.
  • Position requires significant interaction with cross-functional departments within company. collaboration across other technology portfolios, and excellent communication and relationship management skills to influence and resolve issues.
  • This leader will play a key Lead role for Agile Delivery/Product delivery and work with multiple squads/capabilities (BOT team and Waters Leads) to support their respective delivery objectives.
  • Manage a large Web IT (Digital Commerce) portfolio from GCC comprising of various programs & initiatives owned by Global Portfolio Directors.
People Management
  • Collaborate and mentor a high performing GCC team of Scum Masters, Release Train Engineers, Program Managers, QE Lead, SRE Lead, Analytics Lead with the required leadership, influence and analytical skills.
  • Provides leadership, coaching and direction to the Digital team and staff.
  • Implements strategies to attract, retain, motivate and develop talent at Waters GCC.
  • Build \xe2\x80\x9cOne Waters\xe2\x80\x9d culture at Global Capability Center and keep the team engaged and motivated.
  • Manage and review performance of the GCC Digital Web teams in line with corporate guidelines.
  • Provide mentorship to grow future leaders with a passion for guiding, teaching, mentoring, and leading people.
  • Foster an environment of accountability.
Financials and Vendor Management
  • Manage the vendor invoices verification in close collaboration with Finance and Waters portfolio owners / Global leads
  • Proactively plan, manage and execute the Digital Commerce budget for the capability center by coordinating with Waters business leaders across the globe.
  • Partner with finance to coordinate GCC expenses across business units
  • Manage 3rd party vendors and service providers; performance and SLA\xe2\x80\x99s, incident handling and issue/problem resolution and escalation.
  • Ensure Cost reduction by effective planning and building automation in the operations.
QualificationsQualifications
  • 10+ years of portfolio and program management delivery and leadership experience.
  • 5+ years in strategic planning, prioritization, agile/scrum practices, and best practices.
  • Position requires the ability to establish self as a leader, to not only perform in a leadership role, but to also be recognized by other divisions and business partners as a leader.
  • Preferably leadership role in an eCommerce environment and 5+ years of leading Digital initiatives including Online/Mobile/Content/eCommerce etc.
  • Successfully managed a large portfolio or program with multiple/ enterprise business stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels of the organization including managing through cross-business area or business unit prioritization discussions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, oral & written communication, critical analysis
