  • To ensure regional office contributes to achieve or better budget turnover/profit
  • All PM projects to be tracked monthly via TIC sheet and to make allocated profit overall
  • Ensure invoices are raised in a timely manner.
  • Produce for the Managing Director the necessary monthly update reports for regional office in line with organization objectives:
  • Job Summary Report
  • Fee Tracker/Secured Income
  • TIC Sheet for every job
  • Staff Utilizations
  • Staff Issues and Problem Jobs
Service Delivery
  • Ensure that Project Management commissions in your region are effectively managed to:
  • optimise staff utilisation
  • meet technical objectives for all commissions
  • identify and secure any variation in fee income
  • deliver the skills necessary to meet technical objectives for the commission
  • work in a co-operative way within the organization and the Group
  • complying with BMS requirements
  • reflecting client feedback on service delivery
  • Governance. Ensure that contractual risks are acceptable at tender stage and retained contract risks are effectively managed.
Business Development & Marketing
  • To take a pro-active approach to business development including in the following areas:
  • Existing clients
  • Promotion and PR
  • Reactive proposals
  • Networking
  • Industry Contacts
  • Unsecured work
  • Marketing Action Plan
  • Communicating, liaising, and negotiating internally (global & national) and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of business with a profitable business and sustainable relationships
  • Attending and presenting at external client meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development
  • Utilise the internal resources available to research existing and new business
  • Promote and support cross trading and cross selling opportunities
People (Human Resource Management)
  • To provide effective leadership and direction of project management staff in Mumbai , embedding and promoting the values of T&T and to be responsible for their technical and personal development, so that:
  • there is proper delegation and accountability.
  • agreed targets and outcomes are achieved
  • the team works in a co-operative way within with overall TTPL
  • the potential of staff is fully developed with a pro-active approach to learning & development
  • the team has the skills/competencies to deliver objectives
  • staff seek opportunities for learning and development

Environment PolicyShould adhere to the companys global environmental policyQualifications
  • Education - B.E/B.Tech/B.Arch
  • You should have relevant experience of working for a construction consultancy in India, be degree educated in a relevant construction subject and have good technical skills.
  • 20 years post graduate experience with a minimum of 10 years experience in a senior managerial capacity.
  • Experience in developing current and new business, with demonstrated results-orientation to ensure that targets are met or exceeded, including the ability to market activities and services within the sector.
  • Previous experience in growing an established business unit, or establishing and growing a new business unit in India.
  • Significant experience operating in multiple sectors.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with demonstrated negotiation and influencing skills, and the capability to relate and communicate with people from a variety of diverse backgrounds at all levels of the industry.
  • Previous demonstrated experience heading up a dynamic business unit, including managing people; financial reporting; developing and executing business plans, and client/stakeholder management.
  • Ability to travel regularly both within India and internationally in order to meet the operational requirements of the position is an expectation of this role.
