Title: Director Analyst- DevOps About the role: As a Director Analyst specializing in DevOps at Gartner, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of digital operations by providing strategic guidance and thought leadership in DevOps practices. What you will do : Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on DevOps trends, methodologies, and best practices, staying abreast of emerging technologies Industry Insight: Provide strategic insights into the DevOps landscape, offering guidance to clients on effective DevOps strategies Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive DevOps solutions. Client Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, delivering actionable insights and recommendations based on DevOps expertise. Publishing: Author and contribute to research papers, articles, professional social media and publications to enhance the visibility of Gartner as a thought leader. Presentations and Conferences: : Present at industry conferences, webinars, and client meetings, engaging with key stakeholders in the DevOps community What you will need:
Knowledge of DevOps principles, tools, methodologies, and metrics.
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or advanced degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
10 years of experience, with around 5 years in DevOps and a strong background in software development or systems engineering.
In-depth knowledge of DevOps principles, tools, and methodologies.
Excellent analytical and research skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Track record of thought leadership through publications, presentations, or contributions to the DevOps community.
Certifications:
Relevant certifications, such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or others that validate expertise in relevant technologies and practices are an asset
