Job Description

We are hiring civil site Engineer for our company location Coimbatore.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Design:
• Design Infrastructure: Create designs and plans for various civil engineering projects such as roads, bridges, drainage systems, dams, water supply systems, and buildings.
• Site Assessment: Analyze land or construction sites to determine the best approach for the project. This may include soil testing, surveying, and environmental impact assessments.
• Prepare Blueprints: Develop detailed blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings using CAD software or other engineering tools.
• Feasibility Studies: Conduct feasibility studies to assess the economic, environmental, and social impact of proposed projects.
• Project Management:
• Oversee Construction: Supervise construction activities, ensuring the project is progressing as planned in terms of time, cost, and quality.
• Schedule Management: Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring milestones are met and addressing any delays or obstacles.
• Resource Management: Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment required for construction, ensuring their timely delivery.
• Cost Control: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure that costs are kept within the allocated budget. Recommend cost-saving measures where appropriate.
• Regulatory Compliance:
• Ensure Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all construction practices adhere to local, state, and national safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations.
• Permit Applications: Work with regulatory agencies to secure necessary permits and approvals before commencing construction.
• Inspection and Quality Control: Conduct or oversee inspections of construction sites, ensuring that the work meets design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Environmental and Sustainability Considerations:
• Environmental Impact: Assess the environmental impact of projects and develop strategies to minimize negative effects such as pollution, disruption to wildlife, or water contamination.
• Sustainability: Implement sustainable practices in design and construction to reduce environmental footprints, such as using renewable materials, optimizing energy efficiency, and promoting green building practices.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with architects, construction workers, project managers, clients, and other engineers to ensure the success of the project.
• Client Communication: Present design plans, project status updates, and cost estimates to clients or stakeholders.
• Team Coordination: Lead or participate in multidisciplinary teams to achieve the desired project outcome. This may involve coordinating with structural engineers, mechanical engineers, environmental engineers, etc.
• Problem Solving and Troubleshooting:
• Identify Issues: Identify potential problems or conflicts during the design or construction phase and find effective solutions.
• Adaptation: Modify designs as necessary to overcome unforeseen challenges such as unexpected soil conditions, weather delays, or design flaws.
• Post-Construction Activities:
• Maintenance Plans: Develop maintenance schedules for infrastructure projects once construction is complete.
• Site Monitoring: After project completion, monitor the performance of the structures and systems, conducting regular inspections and suggesting repairs or upgrades if needed.
• Report Preparation: Prepare and submit final reports documenting the design, construction, and compliance processes for client records or regulatory authorities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
