• Supervise and coordinate the dining room staff and operations
• Managing food operations
• Overseeing the presentation and serving of food and beverages
• Communicating with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food to students
• Managing and supervising dining staff, including stewards, Helpers and Dish washers
• Ensuring the dining room, kitchen, and other areas are clean and meet health and safety standards
• Training new employees and providing ongoing training for existing staff members
• Scheduling shifts and managing employee work hours
• Interacting with students and staff to ensure they are satisfied with food and service
• Developing and implementing policies and procedures for the dining area
• Monitoring the inventory of kitchen and ordering new supplies as necessary
• Assist in budget planning and monitoring expenses
• Assist in planning and executing events and special functions
