Write the next chapter of your ABB story.This position reports toSenior Digital Solution Engineering ManagerYour role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to serve as a technology expert with strategic focus on both functional and nonfunctional requirements to define and deliver the architecture of software platforms, applications, and solutions. Each day, you will identify, adopt, and define new software architectural patterns, standards, and processes and ensures their appropriate adoption in the software products and solutions development. You will also showcase your expertise by influencing and bringing value to the software product roadmap and portfolio actively, through suggesting new features, functionality, and variants.
The work model for the role is hybrid.
This role contributes to the Process Automation Digital business in Bangalore, India.
You will be mainly accountable for:

• Making effective judgment calls and decisions on ways to optimize the design for conflicting priorities and to make appropriate tradeoffs, leveraging the system instrumentation, team, and enduser feedback cycles and communicating them to the stakeholders for their buyin.
• Identifying metrics proactively and implementing the methods to understand customer\xe2\x80\x99s needs and sentiment to improve their efficiency and performance, through active development.
• Ensuring to deliver userfriendly and valuable software by receiving active feedback from customers and stakeholders and accordingly improving and adapting through continuous solutions delivery.
• Acting as the technical lead by building consensus, particularly related to competing design and nonfunctional quality attributes.

Qualifications for the role

• You are highly skilled in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#) and system integration principles.
• You have 15+ years of experience in IT or software development, with at least 35 years in an architectural role.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or FEAF and certifications like Azure Solutions Architect Expert is preferred.
• Previous experience providing training and facilitating knowledge transfer on CI/CD Principles & best practices.
• Experience with cloud technologies and services from providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree is preferred
• You are comfortable communicating in English.
