Write the next chapter of your ABB story.This position reports toOPC Digital LeaderYour role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to coordinate and facilitate the development, implementation, and successful onboarding of digital solutions. Each day, you will support the adoption of digital platform and solutions into the customer business environment along with their subsequent operations and maintenance. You will also showcase your expertise by participating in the ideation workstreams from identifying and validating the needs to defining the development.
The work model for the role is: #LI- Onsite
This role is contributing to the OPC Digital.
You will be mainly accountable for:

• Execution of MES (Manufacturing Execution System) projects in energy industry, Specialty Chemicals, Batch process manufacturing.
• Design, Develop, Test MES solution based on ABB Ability platform. Provides technical support for installation, and commissioning activities.
• Understanding of customer technical specification documents and preparing engineering estimates and solutions based on ABB Ability platform.
• Development of solution design specifications and test procedures.

Qualifications for the role

• You are highly skilled in ISA S88, ISA S95 architecture and MES functions such as Materials Management, Equipment Tracking, Order Management , Scheduling market
• You have 3-7 years of experience in in design and implementation of MES solutions
• Possess an enhanced knowledge & experience on interfacing with 3rd party systems using communication protocols like Modbus, OPC UA etc .
• You are passionate about scripting language like C# or Python or JavaScript & MS SQL Data base
• Degree in Instrumentation or Electronics or computers /IT or Chemical engineering from reputed university.
• You are at ease communicating with customers & stakeholders
• Experience in estimating engineering efforts, Developing standards , tools for productivity improvement
