Job Summary:
The Senior SEO Analyst is responsible for developing and implementing advanced search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to improve the online visibility, organic search rankings, and traffic of websites. This role involves conducting in-depth SEO analysis, staying up-to-date with industry trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve optimal SEO results. Key Responsibilities: SEO Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies for clients or company websites.
Conduct keyword research to identify high-value keywords and target audiences.
Stay informed about search engine algorithm updates and industry best practices. On-Page Optimization: Optimize website content, including meta tags, headings, and image alt attributes.
Ensure content is keyword-rich, relevant, and user-friendly.
Implement schema markup and structured data where applicable. Off-Page Optimization: Build high-quality backlinks through ethical and white-hat link-building techniques.
Monitor and manage the website\'s backlink profile to maintain quality and relevance. Technical SEO: Conduct technical audits to identify and rectify issues affecting site performance and search visibility.
Implement technical SEO improvements, including site speed optimization, mobile-friendliness, and XML sitemap creation. Content Strategy: Collaborate with content creators to develop SEO-focused content plans.
Provide SEO recommendations for content creation and optimization.
Perform content gap analysis to identify opportunities for new content. Analytics and Reporting: Monitor website traffic, keyword rankings, and other relevant KPIs using tools like Google Analytics and SEO software.
Create and present regular SEO performance reports to clients or internal stakeholders.
Provide data-driven insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Competitor Analysis: Analyze competitor websites and SEO strategies to identify strengths and weaknesses.
Develop strategies to outperform competitors in search rankings. Local SEO: Optimize websites for local search, including Google My Business listings.
Manage local citations and ensure consistency of NAP (Name, Address, Phone number) information. E-commerce SEO (if applicable): Optimize product listings, category pages, and product descriptions for e-commerce websites.
Implement SEO strategies to improve conversion rates and revenue. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with web developers, content creators, and marketing teams to implement SEO recommendations.
