We are looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Marketing Assistant to help us expand our online presence, engage with our community, and drive brand awareness across various platforms.
Job Overview:
As a Social Media Marketing Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our social media efforts, creating content, scheduling posts, and engaging with our online audience. You'll collaborate with the marketing team to execute campaigns, track social media performance, and help grow our brand's digital footprint. This role requires a passion for social media trends, excellent communication skills, and a creative mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
• Content Creation: Assist in the development of engaging and relevant social media content, including text, images, videos, and graphics.
• Content Scheduling: Manage and schedule social media posts across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) using scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Later).
• Community Engagement: Respond to comments, messages, and mentions on social media platforms to foster engagement and build relationships with followers.
• Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyze social media performance metrics (engagement, reach, traffic) and prepare reports for the marketing team to assess the effectiveness of campaigns.
• Campaign Support: Assist with the execution of social media campaigns, promotions, contests, and influencer collaborations.
• Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and provide insights for improvement.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure all social media content aligns with the brand voice, style, and guidelines.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and design teams to develop cohesive content and strategies for cross-platform campaigns.
Qualifications:
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in social media marketing or a related field. Internship experience in digital marketing will also be considered.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
• Proficiency in social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Canva, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of photo/video editing tools (Adobe Photoshop, Canva, or similar).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to create and maintain a consistent brand voice across platforms.
• Basic knowledge of social media advertising (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads) is a plus.
