Our Human Capital & Technology Team provides HR support for client group Leaders, Managers and Employees on organizational and employee matters. We also provide coaching, HR process expertise and other general HR activities. Individuals in this category act as the HR Director of record for a client group.

As a Digital HR System Lead, you'll be responsible for supporting the global sustainment and optimization strategy of our Baker Hughes Learning and Competency platform. The systems lead will be part of the Global Digital HR Technology team and will report into Director- Learning Technology and HR Systems
The lead will support multiple concurrent projects while providing oversight of support queues and closure of tickets for the Baker Hughes Support teams. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with learning, competency systems and related processes within a global HR Technology system.
The lead will gather requirements, design and test solutions, and work with stakeholders to craft scalable, sustainable HR Technology solutions.
The ideal candidate will have experience providing HR Technology operations support, training others in support matters, and in managing data related to tickets. The candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, global, multi-tenant environment. They will take initiative to drive performance improvement within the learning and competency ecosystem.
As a Digital HR Systems Lead , you will be responsible for:
• Supporting HR system projects (Learning, Skills, Competency etc.) from end-to-end including gathering requirements from stakeholders, designing, and configuring solutions, facilitating testing, and moving solutions to production
• Providing support for Configuring, designing, building, testing, and deploying functionality in the Learning, SkyHive & Competency Management System
• Supporting Learning and Skill mapping and integration activities
• Providing ongoing support to maintain content quality with skills and related process
• Being the central point of support management for Baker Hughes HR Systems like Learning, Skills, and Competency ecosystem
• Solving routine end user problems as well as identify, escalate, and help determine root cause solutions for recurrent or systemic issues
• Interfacing with internal team members and our stakeholders to adopt system enhancements that drive a positive user experience
• Contributing to overall business process improvements and be a catalyst for building streamlined and effective processes across the global HR Technology organization
• Responding to and resolving support tickets regarding configuration System changes in a timely and accurate manner
• Executing product technology and functional capability roadmaps, including migration of training content and history
• Working with relevant stakeholders to redesign business processes, and improve the Learning & Competency Management experience for employees globally
• Participating in prioritization discussions for business requirements, approving future state design/configurations and ensuring successful implementation
• Working to improve incident reduction, simplification, process excellence, security, and compliance

To be successful in this role you will:
• Have a bachelor's degree and equivalent experience in HR Technology, Learning, Skill, and Competency Management
• Have 10-14 years of IT or relevant professional experience.
• Have technical experience working with HR Systems (Learning, Competency, Skill etc.), Competency Profiles, and Levels of Proficiency
• Extensive experience in global HR Technology and learning operations or LMS & CMS implementation (SumTotal, Kahuna, SkyHive a plus)
• Have experience in mapping of job roles, competencies, learning activities and using HR Systems
• Have deep experience using Migration Utilities, Advanced system configuration like Creation and modification of Domains and Security Roles
• Be Capable to support and troubleshoot complex downstream integrations
• Have Experience integrating and maintaining third party libraries ensuring end-user Catalog is in-sync with vendor-provided specifications
• Be able to advance troubleshoot complex learning and competencies structures: Observation checklists, Competencies, and Curricula
• Be able to work flexible hours with Management to support the relevant countries (UK Shift Preferred)
• Have leadership and influencing skills and be a Self-starter able to give guidance and take counsel
• Have great organizational skills and the ability to accomplish assigned goals and work well with global team
