About Team:
Growth marketing team at Paytm performs these critical functions for our platform:
1. Traffic allocation to various growth use cases like payments, commerce, financial services according to user current interest and also propensity to adopt new use cases
2. Enhancing growth as a product platform with real time targeting, building a 360-degree customer profile and enhancing reach through most suitable channels
3. Evangelization of growth amongst various businesses of Paytm and ensuring best practices trickle down to all businesses.
About the role:
1. Can drive digital media strategy , go-to-market media plans & buying (while primarily role is for brand, but preferred is both brand+ performance.
2. Identifying target audiences and analysing their behaviour, characteristics, and routines and then choosing the best media outlet combination for different campaigns for the target audience.
3. Strong understanding of the digital platforms like Facebook, AdWords, DV360, etc & hands on with planning tools like Comscore, GWI, similarweb etc.
4. Work closely with the team to embed centrally generated best practice media planning guidelines, KPI and standardized reporting.
5. Responsible for smooth execution of all campaigns end to end either directly or along with the agencies.
6. Develop a relationship with the Media agency planners and how to have effective dialogue with the Media owners
7. Identify placement opportunities - impact, non-impact property based on fitment and competition scanning.
Awareness of emerging/new technologies that can be leveraged for campaigns.
Expectations/ Requirements:
1. The candidate should be good with data management experience, Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented and capable of multi-tasking
2. Solid understanding of media concepts/terms, creative and budget requirements.
3. Strong negotiating skills as well as the ability to analyse disparate streams of data are needed. \xef\x82\xb7 Strategic thinking for alignment with the company\'s long-term objectives .
4. Proven problem solving skills and ability to think outside of the box Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment.
Superpowers/ Skills that will help you succeed in this role:
1. 5-6 years of experience in media operations, execution and planning \xe2\x80\x93 Digital specific plus with a good understanding of the Indian media market (i.e., media cost dynamics, landscape, media usage trends, etc.)
2. Experience in leading a team of content writers & editors.
3. Excellent communication and team collaboration skills to work effectively with various
stakeholders with tight deadlines.
4. Has understanding for both Brand & performance digital marketing
Education:
Graduate or Post-graduate/MBA
