Job Summary: The Dietitian will provide expert nutrition and dietary consultation to patients and clients, helping them improve their health and manage medical conditions through balanced nutrition. The role involves assessing patients' dietary needs, developing personalized meal plans, educating on healthy eating habits, and working closely with other healthcare professionals to promote overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess patients' and clients' nutritional needs by reviewing medical histories, lifestyle factors, and current eating habits.
• Develop and customize meal plans to help manage health conditions (e.g., diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular issues).
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nutritional plans and make necessary adjustments to meet patients' progress and health goals.
• Provide counseling and support to clients on how to improve their diet and incorporate healthy eating habits into their lifestyle.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and therapists, to align dietary plans with medical treatments.
• Conduct nutritional research and stay updated on the latest dietary guidelines and best practices.
• Lead educational seminars, workshops, or group classes on topics related to nutrition and healthy eating.
• Document patient information, progress, and nutritional plans accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensure all dietary plans and practices comply with relevant health regulations and policies.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification.
• State licensure (if applicable).
• Proven experience as a dietitian or nutritionist (minimum of [X] years preferred).
• Strong understanding of medical nutrition therapy (MNT).
• Excellent communication and counseling skills.
• Proficient in using nutrition assessment tools and software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
Preferred Skills:
