: Diesel Generator (DG) Rentals SpecialistPosition Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diesel Generator (DG) Rentals Specialist to join our team. As a DG Rentals Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the rental of diesel generators to customers, ensuring smooth operations, and providing exceptional customer service. Your expertise in diesel generators, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to handle rental logistics will be key to your success in this role.Location: North (Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh and UT Chandigarh)Salary: 12 Lacs CTC Per AnnumResponsibilities:
Coordinate and manage the rental process for diesel generators, including customer inquiries, accurate quoting, negotiating rental agreements, and arranging timely equipment delivery and pickup.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships, understanding their power requirements and offering appropriate generator solutions. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and professionally.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of diesel generators, their specifications, features, and applications. Advise customers on suitable generator options based on their power needs and site conditions.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure rental generators are properly serviced, repaired, and maintained to meet operational requirements. Conduct regular equipment inspections for optimal performance.
Maintain accurate rental records, including contracts, invoices, and customer details. Generate reports on rental activities, revenue, and customer feedback.
Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and pricing strategies. Identify opportunities to expand the rental business and propose growth strategies.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all rental operations. Provide customers with appropriate safety instructions for operating diesel generators.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or engineering degree is a plus.
Proven experience in rental management, preferably in the diesel generator industry.
Strong knowledge of diesel generator operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, colleagues, and vendors.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficient in using computer software and applications for generating quotes, managing documentation, and tracking rental activities.
