Job Purpose:
To ensure complete security of assets and people through assessment of risks based on product vulnerability, topography, demography and the work culture and disaster management.
To ensure security of materials in transit across India
Key Result Areas/Accountabilities Supporting Actions
1) Planning
Assessing of security risks and mitigation planning
Disaster Management Plan
Loss Prevention Plan
Crime Prevention Plan
2) Operational Excellence
Implementing effective access control and movement of man and material to minimize all kinds of risk to assets and lives.
Implementing effective vigilance to eliminate internal and external threats to operations and business continuity
Implementing SOPs
3) Budgetary Controls
Operating within allocated CAPEX and R&M budgets
Ensuring zero pilferage of material especially with respect to high-value metals
4) Compliance
Monitoring statutory compliances related to Contract Labour and Shipping
Implementing compliance of quality certification guidelines
Monitoring timely calibration of weighbridges
5) Customer-centricity
Ensuring effective response to any untoward incidents having security implications
Establishing a strong and effective intelligence network inside and outside the plant to preempt security risks, if any
Liaising with the local police station and security managers of other industries
Minimizing response time
6) Sustainability and Process Improvement
Reviewing security threat perception on a periodic basis and proactively improving systems and processes to eliminate the same
Working along with commercial team on new Projects for technology enablement with respect to security
Embedding a culture of security and safety awareness by initiating process changes through cross functional collaboration
Reviewing and improving transportation facilities and traffic management for greater efficiencies through cross functional collaboration
Partnering in digitization initiatives
Ensuring good Housekeeping practices
Partnering in the creation and maintenance of green belts
7) People development and engagement
Implementing optimum deployment of manpower and improving performance of team members
Conducting periodic technical and safety training of all security personnel and drivers including contractual workforce
Facilitating awareness sessions for all team members to prevent any incident posing security hazards and ensuring readiness for disaster
Qualifications:
Post Graduate Minimum Experience Level: 8-15 Years
