Ensure peaceful and harmonious relationship with workmen/employees, Trade Unions leaders & local opinion makers to meet out the uninterrupted Unit operation.
Interactions with Unions on periodic basis to keep channels of two way communication open for addressing the issues from time-to-time.
Day to day interaction with workmen at shop floor and handling grievances.
Disciplinary action as and when required.
Long Term Settlements for wage fixation regarding contractual workmen and bonus settlement for wage board employees.
Generating ER MIS on any issue arising and co-ordinating with respective departments for solving the issues.
Balancing local stakeholders and managing the socio political scenario
Ensure smooth Contract Labour Management, statutory compliance and ensure that all labour cases related to legal and disciplinary are contested with all supporting evidence in favour of the Company to enable smooth working of Unit.
Coordinate smooth functioning of Contract Labour Section/Communication Section
Ensure timely renewal of license by the contractors.
Ensure legal compliances by the contractors.
Review requirements in excess to budget and advise necessary action
Renew and monitor enforcement of activities related to contract labour.
Ensure statutory compliance wrt Factory Act, CLRA Act, IR Act, PF, ESI, BoCW and other relevant acts and timely Updation in the system under various acts
Preparation of draft note, objection statement, etc., written arguments and furnish all information to advocate - Preliminary enquiry, issue of charge sheet and Conducting domestic enquiry, if required
Ensure line managers follow proper procedures
Recommending disciplinary action to management
Co-ordinate with legal experts and obtain opinion as per requirement of the case
Liaise and Communicate with Govt. Authorities
Time Office Management
Oversee the seamless administration of time office activities, ensuring stringent adherence to statutory compliances, and enhancing operational efficiency.
Supervise Time Office operations for accurate attendance records and discipline.
Manage Timekeepers, shift schedules, and conduct surprise checks.
Implement disciplinary actions and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Checks and regulates records of attendance, adhering to Factory Act and Contract Labour Rules.
Compensation and Benefits Administration
Implement robust systems and processes to guarantee the punctual disbursement of salaries and benefits through strategic decision-making, meticulous planning, and rigorous execution.
Oversee the accurate preparation and timely disbursement of wages, overtime, and bonuses.
Implement maker-checker processes for wage and salary administration.
Monitor and control costs in alignment with budgeted figures.
Facilitate CMA Settlement, VDA revision, and employee appraisal processes.
Ensure timely remittance of PF and ESI contributions, adhering to legal requirements.
Oversee PF and pension account settlements and submission of ESIC returns.
People Management & Development:
To build & sustain a conductive work culture within department to improve productivity, growth & improvements in department performance for overall objective of unit along with motivating employees to institutionalize for bring innovation, creativity, best practices to replicate in the Unit by effective management of people for development of them.
Guiding team of SMART and differentiating Goals Setting aligning with Unit and Business targets, time to time review performance and giving or seeking quality real time constructive feedback on performance appraisal and other areas.
