Job Description


As Service Sales Manager - Power Quality, will be part of Service Sales - Key Account business based in the Mumbai / Bengaluru. As the Sales Manager - Power Quality applications, candidate will be responsible for securing orders for Power Quality equipment and solutions across country in line with targets and planned strategy.Person will be responsible for identifying projects from an early stage, promoting Service Sales\'s technical offering, work with pre-sales on the business case for those projects when required, developing a winning strategy, identifying, and nurturing key stakeholders (customer, consultants, regulators, etc.), supporting bidding process and negotiating until contracts are successfully signed.Within Service Sales you will work with the Global Center of Competence and drive the operation team to deliver such projects and coordinate activities with local team members, Front End sales functions and regional BD resources.The candidate will plan and ensure the execution of the projects/sales strategy for PQ equipment / Solutions to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for products, services & systems profitably.Your responsibility:

  • Support exceeding the sales targets through high performance and to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction to ensure that the business substantially increases sales, margins, market share and customer satisfaction in the Indian market segments.
  • Develop and implement a market-based strategy including Partner management and direct service sales approach for both short-/mid-term project bidding as well as long-term pipeline and opportunity development.
  • Build relationships with key external influencers to educate, inform, and solicit support for new Service Sales ventures and technical developments.
  • Defines key targets (e.g. project, prices, portfolio mix) and ensures these are achieved for the segments/markets. Ensures detailed business/sales plans are in place with regular follow-up. Drives the growth of the top line in each target industry segment. The setting of target price and Winning Strategy of main focus projects.
  • Activates operation intelligence, benchmarking, and analysis to identify best processes, equipment, automation practices, etc.
  • Supports regional KA Sales teams to ensure they are positively perceived in the target segment.
  • Customer relationship: Builds and maintains strong relationships at senior levels with the key stakeholders.
  • Ensures the team is well prepared and has the necessary internal support to pursue and manage large project contracts.
  • Identifies and manages risk relating to contract agreements and prices across segments.

Your background:
  • Education: Minimum B.E. / B Tech Electrical / Electronics Engineering.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation skills, Strong communication skills, Expert in Power Quality, PQ software, System Architecture, and Technical Sales.
  • Experience: 10+ years in electrical engineering & min 5-7 years of Power quality experience.
