Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning:
• Develop and implement long-term electrical engineering strategies aligned with the plant's overall business objectives.
• Identify opportunities for electrical system optimization and energy efficiency improvements.
• Project Management:
• Lead and manage electrical engineering projects, including new installations, upgrades, and expansions.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and take corrective actions as needed.
• Maintenance and Reliability:
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all electrical equipment.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure efficient troubleshooting and resolution of electrical issues
• Safety and Compliance:
• Ensure adherence to all electrical safety standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Team Leadership:
• Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers and technicians.
• Delegate tasks effectively and empower team members to take ownership of their responsibilities.
• Budgetary Control:
• Develop and manage the electrical department's budget.
• Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Justify capital expenditure requests for electrical projects.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, motor control, instrumentation, and automation.
• Proven experience in project management, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Proficient in electrical design software and tools.
