Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
The Application Delivery Lead will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality software applications. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership abilities, and effective communication skills to manage and guide a team of developers. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development, project management, and agile methodologies.
• Key Responsibilities:
+ Oversee the end-to-end application delivery process, ensuring timely and high-quality outputs.
+ Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
+ Ensure adherence to agile development practices and continuous improvement methodologies.
+ Implement and maintain best practices in software development and delivery.
+ Provide technical guidance and support for all development projects.
+ Communicate effectively with executive management and other stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues.
+ Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the team and projects.
+ Lead and manage a team (3rd party) of 10-20 software developers, helpdesk and QA engineers.
+ Promote strong collaboration between team members, peers, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals and enhance overall productivity.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
Relevant certifications in agile methodologies, project management, and technical domains are a plus.
Experience
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in software development and delivery.
- Extensive experience in managing large-scale software projects and teams.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, Angular, JavaScript frameworks etc). and back-end development (e.g., Java, .NET, Node.js).
Working knowledge of database management and SQL and key cloud platforms.
Experience in mobile application development (iOS, Android).
Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, JIRA).
Understanding of quality assurance processes and practices.
Performance monitoring & observability process & tools
