Job Description
DGM (Electrical & Automation) will report directly to the AVP - Rolling Mill and work out of the factory taking care of the Electrical & Automation operations and maintenance activities within the plant. Responsible for managing team of engineers, technicians, and support staff, ensuring the smooth functioning of electrical systems, coordinating maintenance activities, implementing preventive maintenance programs, and optimizing equipment reliability to meet production targets.
Supervises Manager - Electrical & Automation of Rolling Mill. Maps the resources as per maintenance and automation targets and assists AVP(RM) to achieve production targets as per business requirement. Ensures everyone in his Rolling Mill Electrical & Automation department follow safety and related statutory requirements.
Coordinates and collaborates with peers, support functions, negotiates for timeline, ensures job completion, and demonstrates leadership skills among his team members to ensure positive culture is retained at work place every day.
