Joining Kwalee means becoming part of a team that has reached over 1 billion players around the globe.As we continue to grow, we are now looking for a DevOps Manager to join our Engineering team in our Bangalore studio.As the DevOps Manager, you will be responsible for leading our DevOps team, ensuring seamless deployment, operation, and scaling of our applications. You will work closely with the development, operations, and QA teams. Together, you will drive efficiency and reliability through automation and best practices, fostering a culture of collaboration between development and operations while managing the integration and continuous delivery of code. \ Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-efficient AWS infrastructure.
  • Lead and mentor a small remote team of DevOps engineers, fostering collaboration and innovation.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and identify opportunities for process automation and improvement.
  • Establish monitoring systems, lead incident response efforts, and implement corrective actions.
  • Work closely with development, IT operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and operations.
  • Ensure AWS infrastructure meets security best practices and compliance requirements, conducting regular assessments and audits.
  • Maintain documentation of infrastructure and processes, and generate regular performance reports.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated success in a similar DevOps leadership role.
  • Extensive experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
  • Proficient in CI/CD tools (Jenkins) and scripting languages (Python, Bash).
  • Proven leadership in managing and mentoring a DevOps team of four.
  • Expertise in monitoring tools, incident management, and root cause analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of security best practices, compliance standards, and database/network managementAWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Hands-on approach to leadership with a focus on thorough product documentation.
  • Based in our office in Bangalore, following our hybrid model with 4 days per week on-site.
