About Business line/Function:

Global Banking IT is mainly for Corporate Clients. Global Banking IT mainly covers Payments and Cash Management, Trade Finance, Corporate Deposits and Lending business. We are around 700 Employees based in BNP Paribas India Solutions covering Development, Business Analysis, Testing and Production Support. We work for Asia, Europe, and America region.

Position Purpose

The position is for a DevOps Engineer within Project VAM responsible for managing CI/CD, Infra and deployment topics of the project.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

• Work with geographically distributed Agile Scrum team.
• Liaise with Infra teams to manage environments from Dev to UAT.
• Assist the team with infra setup required for the project.
• Assist the team with Deployment activities and automation where possible.

Contributing Responsibilities

• Team player

• Adhere to timelines set for delivery.
• Open to new technology adaptation, learning and implementation within the project.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Mandatory

• Jenkins, hands on experience with configurations and maintaining pipelines.
• Experience on Sonar and JFrog Artifactory.
• Experience on Ansible tower.
• Hands on experience with Linux OS, preferable RedHat Linux.
• Worked on projects utilizing Docker.
• Understanding of source repositories like GIT / Bitbucket.
• Experience on using monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, etc.
