Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters, including deployments, scaling, and troubleshooting.
• Develop and maintain Docker images and containers, ensuring security best practices.
• Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure or GCP) using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles (e.g., Terraform).
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal tools and automation scripts.

Qualifications:

• At least 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a related role.
• Strong proficiency in Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with configuration management tools (Chef, Ansible, Puppet).
• Solid understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python).
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Experience or willingness to learn some frontend frameworks (ReactJS, NodeJS, Angular)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with Helm charts and service meshes (Istio, Linkerd).
• Experience with monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Experience with security best practices for cloud and container environments.
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong personal portfolio.
