DevOps Engineer with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience as DevOps Engineer with strong scripting and server-side coding skills As a DevOps Engineer, you will be part of an agile software engineering team, driving development and maintenance of AD3I software applications. The range and scope of duties for this position include providing support to the development teams with their builds and deployments and interacting with the customers for installing applications and troubleshooting. The role demands excellent written and speaking skills along with the server-side coding expertise using the scripting languages. Responsibilities: Create efficient automated deployment workflows supporting development through testing and production deployment using scripting languages such as ANT, Python, Groovy etc. With the support of the QA team run performance testing on the applications developed Troubleshooting the application errors and adapt working with new technologies as required. Work and communicate effectively in a team environment and with the engineering department as a whole Qualifications 3+ years of DevOps or combined software development and system administration experience Working experience with Amazon Web Services or other cloud providers. Experience with PowerShell, Groovy, Python, ANT, and C# on .Net 4.5 Experience with Microsoft SQL server, Oracle DBs. Experience with Infrastructure as Code or Config as Code (PowerShell DSC, Chef, Puppet, Jenkins) Must have experience in using Chef/Jenkins tools Experience with/exposure to Insurance Domain (preferred but not required) Familiarity with Windows, Linux Operating Systems Experience with software, interface, or testing approaches and design patterns Effective communication and documentation skills Additional Information Verisk is an equal opportunity employer.
