About The Role Grade Level (for internal use): 10 The Team: IHS Markit\'s Counter Party Manager (CPM) provides market intelligence, data, and technology solutions to all participants in the Global Markets. The Impact: Build and deploy solutions using automation tooling (pipelines) to deliver CPM products into the AWS Cloud. What\'s In It For You Exposure to a wide variety of AWS Services including serverless Exposure to GitLab and development of pipelines Opportunity to build custom solutions using AWS Managed Service Components Responsibilities Design and build continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to automate processes. Deploy, manage, and operate scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems in the AWS Cloud. Design architectural solutions to meet the business requirements. Implement solutions using the AWS CLI, CloudFormation and Terraform. Onboarding CPM products into AWS. Apply strong technical skills and good business knowledge - together with investigative techniques and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues in a timely and high-quality manner. Should be able to work directly with Product team, Operations team, Development, QA and Infrastructure team to understand and resolve issue. What We\'re Looking For A talented DevOps Engineer with experience working with CICD Automation Tooling such as Terraform, and excellent knowledge of AWS. The candidate should have strong software development skills in languages such as Unix bash scripting and have a good working knowledge of Terraform and CloudFormation. The candidate is willing to explore new tools & technologies to meet the product demands. This person will report directly to the Solutions Architecture manager and will work closely with the Team on a day-to-day basis.
