Also, troubleshoot and resolve issues in software projects automation.How You Will Spend Your Days
\xc2\xa7 Provide Continuous Delivery environment helping SW teams to deliver automotive high-quality software products and projects faster
\xc2\xa7 Working with cross-functional teams to develop the necessary scripts to launch CI/CD on the infrastructure.
\xc2\xa7 Development methodologies, and reduce time consumed for SW projects development which will lead to R&D Savings across the organization
\xc2\xa7 Develop and integrate tools/scripts to automate the process of deployment.
\xc2\xa7 Perform root cause analysis for production issues & troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments
\xc2\xa7 Adapt to new methodologies which the team implements and work to enhance them
\xc2\xa7 Develop Groovy scripts for the Jenkins Job for the project team
\xc2\xa7 Develop the CI/CD work flow based on CI/CD Architecture
\xc2\xa7 Improve SW validation and quality assurance tooling and processes in Continuous Delivery environment with SW teams
\xc2\xa7 Ensure build jobs are never failed due to tools reason and infrastructure.
\xc2\xa7 Constantly monitor the build times and suggest if any modifications or tuning require for the build infrastructure.
\xc2\xa7 Create efficient reports with respect to usage of build infra
\xc2\xa7 Work closely with IT team to resolve any issues on hardware.
\xc2\xa7 Troubleshoot any Jenkins, Artifactory, Electric Accelerator issues.

Technical Knowledge and Skills

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field in Computer Science or Electronics.
• At least 4 to 8 years of experience in Automated Deployments using some of the tools like DevOps, CI/ CD, GIT, Jenkins, Docker, Art factory.
• Able to deploy CI in projects with Good knowledge in Jenkins
• Able to develop Jenkins file and use shared libraries
• Good Hands on scripting tools: Python, bash etc

o Code Versioning - GIT / GitBash / TortoiseGIT / BitBucket / GitHub / Git-Flow strategy, SVN
o CI/CD - Jenkins, Master-Slave configuration setup (Windows) / Integration of tools like Git / Selenium /Artifactory
o Containerization - Docker, Kubernettes
o Methodologies & Tools - Scrum / Agile,
o Software Development Release Exposure- C/C++
o Ability to self-learn new technologies and work on POCs
o Ability to identify areas of Automation and implement using tools and reusable components
o Willingness to learn new technologies/products on the job
o Experience working in and have good understanding of Development process like Agile, waterfall
o Client interfacing in resolving the issues.
o Experience in Embedded Software Development or Exposure to Automotive Electronics but optional
