• 6+ years of experience CI/CD process, tools, technologies, Programming experience with Python and Java
• Hands-on experience for configuration and management of SCM (git), code review tools (Gerrit, Github), build (Jenkins), pipeline setup
• Good experience using Build Tools (Gradle, Maven, ANT etc...)
• Fundamentals of database, RDBMS management - preferably PostgreSQL, noSQL database like Mongo
• 4+ years of experience in Cloud Technologies using AWS
• Cloud skills \xe2\x80\x93 Cloud Framework (SNS, SQS, KMS, S3, API G/W etc...), Serverless, Access Control. AWS Certification (Dev associate+) is desired.
• Infrastructure as a code - Hands-on-experience with tools like CloudFormation, CDK, Ansible etc.
• Containers and Container Orchestration - Docker, Kubernetes
• Security mindset - awareness of vulnerabilities, secure deployment, network segmentation, firewall, security lifecycle etc. Hands-on experience working with vulnerabilities scanning tools like - BurpSuite, MetaSploit, Kali Linux, AppScan etc. is an added advantage.
• Should have experience working on RHEL or any flavors of Linux
• Good experience with test coverage tools with various testing techniques
• Good experience using IDE (like Eclipse etc...)
• Good Team work and collaboration skills
• Strong Problem solving skills
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• 6+ years of experience or BS/CS or equivalent degree with exposure to manage cloud production environment
• Candidate should have hands-on experience in configuring, monitoring and managing production workloads.
• Experience with containers, container orchestration and its management.
• Exposure to automation (infra) and coding skills (Java/Python).
• Experience with one or more scripting languages.
• Awareness on configuration management tools and usage.
• Good analytical skills to assess a failure, take corrective action, document the observations and be able to present the RCA.
• Very good skills in debugging software in complex environments
• Exposure to Security tools, understanding of CVE / vulnerabilities and threat mitigation knowledge. Ability to isolate vulnerable instances and reduce the impact radius, with minimal compromise on service availability by restoring / adding resources.
• Keep abreast with the industry trends on monitoring and alerting tools, technologies and processes. Should be self-starter to enhance and improve upon / adding monitoring and alerting setup, using best of breed and cost effective solutions.
• Handle failure scenarios and work on resolution at the earliest.
• Exposure on managing Disaster Recovery setup and scenarios.
• Identify failover and fallback steps improvements, bottlenecks, circular dependencies etc. and work on improving the process / automate wherever it is possible.
• Work towards a well architected cloud deployment that has increased visibility for monitoring and alerting, reduced RTO and RPO for DR.
• Awareness of documented Return to Operate (RTO) and Return Point Objective (RPO) and work towards optimizing them using technical advancements in Cloud and services.
• Own PoC setup for improvements and lead DR dry-run exercise
• Active participation in PR reviews and Internal Feature validations
• Very approachable to the team members
• Hands-on exposure to CI/CD tools
• Good foundational knowledge of networking fundamentals, core concepts.
