For more information visit unilode.com.Position OverviewThe AWS DevOps Engineer is responsible for the administration, automation, and optimization of the organization\'s AWS cloud infrastructure. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, and ensuring the reliability and security of application deployments. The AWS DevOps Engineer will work closely with development teams to ensure smooth, error-free releases and will continuously enhance the CI/CD processes for efficiency and scalability. Additionally, the role requires implementing monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery strategies to maintain the performance, cost-efficiency, and security of the infrastructure.General Responsibilities

• Expert in administering AWS services with experience in working with diversified services on the AWS cloud platform.
• CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the building, testing, and deployment of software applications. Configure and integrate CI/CD tools and services. On AWS our main CI/CD pipeline is built using Github, Terraform, Github Actions, and Auth0. Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
• Implement Infrastructure as Code practices to provision, configure, and manage infrastructure resources using tools like Terraform.
• Manage version control systems (e.g., Git) to ensure efficient collaboration, code branching, and repository management. Oversee the deployment of applications, ensuring smooth and error-free releases to production and other environments.
• Set up monitoring tools and solutions to continuously monitor the performance and health of applications and infrastructure.
• Optimize infrastructure for cost-efficiency and performance.
• Implement security best practices and compliance measures within the CI/CD pipeline and application infrastructure
• Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and application availability in case of unexpected failures.
• Continuously assess and enhance CI/CD practices, tools, and processes to optimize efficiency, reliability, and automation.

• Bachelor\'s Degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a related field.
• Professional DevOps experience AWS.
• Experience should include working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub CI/CD, Travis CI, or similar
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible to provision and manage infrastructure resources.
• Expertise in managing EC2 instances, S3, RDS, Identity & Access Management, Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Auto-Scaling, Dynamo DB, CloudFront, S3 Glacier, Firewall manager, Elastic Cache.
• Expertise in automating application deployments using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or containerization platforms.
• Experience with monitoring tools and solutions to monitor the performance and health of applications and infrastructure. Experience with monitoring and alerting systems like Cloudwatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, or Python to automate tasks and workflows.
• Experience in configuring and using Bastion host, Route53, Load Balancer, security management on AWS.
• Experience in using cost explorer, optimizer to drive continuous cost optimization.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and provide updates on deployments and system status.
• Preferred Certification: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer \xe2\x80\x93 Professional, Terraform Associate.
