Job Summary :



We are seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with over 8-12 years of experience to lead and run our DevOps team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, system administration, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices. Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) is must. They will be responsible for building and managing a high-performing DevOps team, designing and implementing scalable infrastructure, and ensuring the seamless integration and delivery of software products.




Key Responsibilities :


• Lead and Build the DevOps Team:
+ Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of DevOps engineers.
+ Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
• Infrastructure Design and Management:
+ Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure.
+ Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate workflows.
• Collaboration and Communication:
+ Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of applications.
+ Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide updates.
• Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
+ Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
+ Ensure high availability and disaster recovery strategies are in place.
• Security and Compliance:
+ Implement and maintain security best practices across all environments.
+ Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Tooling and Automation:
+ Evaluate, select, and integrate DevOps tools and technologies.
+ Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce errors.

Qualifications :


• Experience:
+ Over 8-12 years of experience in DevOps, software development, or system administration.
+ Proven experience leading and managing a DevOps team.
• Technical Skills:
+ Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
+ Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
+ Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
+ Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
+ Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Education:
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).



Preferred Qualifications :

• Certification in cloud platforms (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
