This role will be a thought leader with large influence on the DevOps approach for the company. The role combines superior technical knowledge, automation expertise, and development process knowledge to bring about innovative process changes and shifts in work culture.What you will be doing:Create and support advanced pipelines in Harness, integrate with testing frameworks and other tools such as SNOW, Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace etc, and support RBAC access modelCreate and support advanced Docker filesImplement deployments to OpenShift Container PlatformTroubleshoot containerized builds and deploymentsImplement processes and automations for onboarding teams onto OpenShiftScript interfaces and integration between SDLC tools such as JIRA, Rally, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Azure DevOps Server (TFS), ServiceNow, OpenShift, Harness, etc.Design and implement pipeline jobs to run static code scans, dynamic scans, and automated unit test and functional test suitesImplement pipeline enhancements to support automated changed management and other compliance requirementsImplement automated reports and telemetry to monitor pipeline metrics: including builds, deployments, scans, and test runsLeads technology projects, researches and applies best practices to processes and procedures as appropriate and evaluates how new technologies, products and techniques can meet future technology needs.Consults with management to analyze information technology needs and determine scope, objectives, and priorities of technical projects, technical systems capacity.Drives translation of product strategy and business owner expectations into long-range systems projects/plans with priority recommendations.Makes development recommendations to business owners based on experience with client expectations and issues. Notifies business owners of potential technical or operational constraints including performance implications.Assigns and monitors work of project team providing technical and analytical support and direction. Interfaces with internal stakeholders on technical matters as needed. May manage small projects or sub-projects.Directs and provides day-to-day expertise, coaching and leadership to management/supervisory team for areas including information systems design and development, systems planning, programming, architecture, data processing, data security, networks, systems support and/or analysis.
