Description:Job Title : DevOps Architect (Cloud Engineer, Software Development Engineer)
Department : Product & Engineering
Location : Kolkata (Onsite)Job Summary: We are looking for a cloud architect who will help us build highly
concurrent systems that improve customer experience. They will be responsible for
app release and deployments , app performance including database , and identifying
production issues , vulnerability and security of production environments and other
compliance like GDPR and optimising cost of infra .Key Responsibilities
xe2x97x8f Our apps are deployed in google cloud, AWS and we are open to any cloud .So
we use Cloud agnostic tools.
xe2x97x8f Automated server monitoring setup & HA adherence and ensure 99.95%
uptime across all services.
xe2x97x8f Managing CI/CD pipeline.
xe2x97x8f Configure and manage data sources like MySQL, Mongo, Elasticsearch , Kafka
along with DBA. Ensure processes like missing indexes , archiving historical
data are in place .
xe2x97x8f Configure and manage clusters of open source data streaming technologies
like kafka , spark
xe2x97x8f Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes
for DevOps operation
xe2x97x8f Review and act on the Service requests, Infrastructure requests and Incidents
logged by our Implementation teams and clients. Identifying, analysing, and
resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues
xe2x97x8f Own anything related to the production environment . Make sure it is secure
and monitor the company's cloud privacy and take initiative for anything to
make it compliant with GDPR etc .
xe2x97x8f Identifying top cloud architecture to meet companys need
xe2x97x8f Manage cloud/IT budget .xe2x97x8f Collaborate with Software Engineers to help them deploy and operate different
systems, also help to automate and streamline company's operations and
processes.
xe2x97x8f Developing interface simulators and designing automated module deployments.
xe2x97x8f Proactively participate with Product managers to include anything which will
improve performance of the app .Key Skills & qualifications :xe2x97x8f Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, information
technology, information systems.
xe2x97x8f Proven work experience as cloud architect and similar role .
xe2x97x8f 8+ years of experience in managing Linux based cloud microservices
infrastructure (AWS, GCP or Azure)
xe2x97x8f Hands-on experience with databases including MySQL.
xe2x97x8f Hands-on experience in docker , Kubernetes , Nginx, Apache .
xe2x97x8f Hands on experience in build automation like maven , NPM ,Ant
xe2x97x8f Able to setup and manage CI/CD pipelines
xe2x97x8f Hands on experience in API gateways , rate limit , IP restrictions ,etc
xe2x97x8f Good knowledge of various scripting languages for automation like powershell,
bash scripting , python ,etc .
xe2x97x8f Good knowledge of managing and integrating code quality tools .
xe2x97x8f Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on companys

xe2x97x8f Critical thinker and problem-solving skills .
xe2x97x8f Excellence knowledge of cloud computing technologies and current computing
