Responsibilities:

• The candidate will have a strong technical background with experience working in medium to large-scale environments.
• Work as part of a cross-functional team to provide technical support, troubleshooting, and complex problem resolution on escalated issues while monitoring and maintaining application environment stability.
• Provide support during large-scale scheduled maintenance and disaster recovery efforts
• Configure Linux system and Middleware according to documented guideline
• Identify, research, and develop system process improvements and recommend them to management for implementation/automation
• Create, use, and maintain resource documentation for reference and troubleshooting problems
• Create and follow change requests in accordance with the change management policy
• This position operates in a 24x7x365 environment. Participate in the rotating "on-call" schedule with other members of the team.
• Running AWS-based automation, system-level automation and troubleshooting issues when they arise.
• Experience in Build Release management, setting up CI/CD pipelines, managing various tools required in the software lifecycle, Scripting in shell, Python, Groovy or Java and UNIX / Linux System administration.
• Experience working with Terraform.
• Experience with PostgreSQL Databases.
• Experienced in using Docker components like Docker Engine, Hub, Swarm, Docker Registry, handling Docker images primarily for middleware installations and domain configurations. Experience with a version control system (GIT preferred).
• Hands-on experience in AWS services and AWS DevOps tools (EC2, S3, RDS etc.)
• Expertise in AWS EKS concepts (Nodes, Namespace, Containers, Pods)
• Build & Set up test automation and pipeline frameworks in Open Shift and/or Kubernetes environments
• Administer automated CI/CD systems and tools for development and test teams.

Desired skills:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering Technology or technical degree and/or certifications.
• 5+ years\' experience with Windows and Linux systems administration
• Strong Middleware experience installing, configuring and tuning Weblogic/ Jboss/WildFly/Apache/JVM tuning along with understanding and knowledge of relational databases
• Understanding of High Availability and Scalability techniques
• Extensive experience troubleshooting complex server infrastructure and network environments.
• Experience with server configuration automation tools and automating processes.
• Experience administering a production-state system and interacting directly with customers.
• Ability to work as part of a team in building, administering, and deploying automated systems.
• Linux and Windows OS administration
• A general understanding of cloud technologies and/or experience with AWS (EC2, ELB, S3, VPC, SES).
• Experience with scripting (Python, Shell, Batch)
• Experience with the AWS Cloud automation toolset is a plus
• Good understanding of System level security
• Experience with any industry standard monitoring solution is a plus
• A general understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, VLANs, and related protocols.

Basic Qualification:

-Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering Technology with at least 4 years of relevant IT experience

- Knowledge of AWS Cloud Services and Microsoft Azure

- Automation knowledge in Python and Power shell

DevOps Engr who is ready to help us improve our customer experience by building functional systems that bring our business to new heights. You\'ll need to have strong experience in Amazon Web Services and Azure, because you\'ll be creating cloud formation templates to build AWS services to support custom Java applications-which means you\'ll need to be fluent in Java, too. As a DevOps Engr, you\'ll also be working in conjunction with like-minded departments such as software engineering to deploy these new products and manage our infrastructure, associated processes and systems. It\'ll definitely help for you to be detail-oriented and a skilled problem solver because you\'ll also be helping us to streamline our processes-and automating them where applicable.
