Job Summary As part of the Comcast Cybersecurity Research & Development team the Cloud Backend Engineer will be responsible for building multi-tier client-server applications, Data processing and deployment on cloudbased technologies. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement technical efforts to design, build, and deploy cloud applications, including large-scale data processing. - Work with our architecture team to define the architecture/design and to ensure they are consistent with Cloud best practices and are reasonable to implement from a technical perspective. - Writing quality and efficient codes following coding principle. - Write effective APIs following design and security principles. - Processing and maintaining data in a secured environment. - Implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines). - Experienced in interpreting project requirements and technical specifications. Minimum Requirements: - Degree in Computer Science, technical field, or equivalent professional experience. - Hands on experience in developing cloud-based applications and distributed systems. - Minimum 4+ years of experience in Python Programming is mandatory. - Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience with Application development and deployment in cloud. - Proficiency with AWS Services including Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda, EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, CloudWatch. - Working experience in any one of the SQL or NoSQL databases. - Exposure to OOPS concepts. - Good Problem Solving and debugging skills. - Good understanding of API development, deployment, and integration experience. - Experience with version control, GIT preferred.
