Overview:

Overall experience is 10+ yrs. Strong work experience as PostgreSQL Admin in distributed transactional database. (GCP / Azure Cloud)
Define the best practices for backup strategies/RTO vs RPO.
Associate should be able to create database setup from scratch (platform and cluster), know configuration level changes.
Worked in DB integration with other monitoring tools for day-to-day server health check, number of transactions, alerts etc.
Should be able to analyze DB performance issues and take corrective measures.
Understand DC/DR setup.
Configuring alerts, generating and monitoring alerts from monitoring tools.
Creating backup policies, monitoring back and restore process. Should have expertise in implementing best practices for data backup strategy and other performance tuning activities.
Handy in writing basics scripts of Linux.
To define the network subnet/security best practices at database level.
Worked on Agile projects, source control & integration with DevOps pipelines.
Good communication skills and logical reasoning skills.
