: Job Title: MySQL Database Administrator (DBA) Experience Range: 5 - 8 Yrs Hiring Location: Chennai, Mumbai, Gurgaon Work Timings: On-call rotation (11:00 AM / 12:00 PM start) with an overlap from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM IST with US teams Must-Have Skills:

• Database Administration:

• Expertise in MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience in database backup & recovery, replication, and optimization
• Hands-on experience with public cloud-based DBaaS services (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL)
• Cloud Experience: Professional experience with Azure (mandatory), AWS is beneficial
• Scripting: Proficiency in Bash (preferred), Python, or any scripting language
• Linux Server Management: Hands-on experience in supporting and troubleshooting Linux servers
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting:

• Experience with enterprise database monitoring tools
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Database Migrations: Experience migrating databases from on-premises to the cloud
• Log Management Tools: Familiarity with Elastic Stack (preferred), Graylog, or Splunk
• Networking Concepts: Good understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs, Firewalls
• System Administration: Experience with Linux and Windows administration
• Monitoring Tools: Experience with Nagios, CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus
• Deployment Methodologies: Experience with Blue-Green deployments
• CI/CD Tools: Experience with GitLab or Jenkins
• Secret Management: Familiarity with HashiCorp Vault
• Programming Knowledge: Experience with any high-level programming language

Job Responsibilities:

• Deploy and manage resilient application stacks using Infrastructure as Code and DevOps best practices
• Provide ongoing monitoring and support for critical, high-revenue business applications
• Diagnose and resolve complex database, system, and application issues
• Set up and provision new cloud-based environments
• Implement database security best practices and ensure compliance with security updates
• Optimize database performance, backup & recovery strategies
• Collaborate with Development, QA, IT Operations, Customer Operations, and Project Management teams
• Maintain technical and non-technical documentation for DBA processes
• Train junior staff and provide guidance on best practices
• Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours maintenance as required
