### Role description
Role Proficiency:
Independently develops error free code with high quality validation of applications guides other developers and assists Lead 1 - Software Engineering
Outcomes:
• Understand and provide input to the application/feature/component designs; developing the same in accordance with user stories/requirements.
• Code debug test document and communicate product/component/features at development stages.
• Select appropriate technical options for development such as reusing improving or reconfiguration of existing components.
• Optimise efficiency cost and quality by identifying opportunities for automation/process improvements and agile delivery models
• Mentor Developer 1 - Software Engineering and Developer 2 - Software Engineering to effectively perform in their roles
• Identify the problem patterns and improve the technical design of the application/system
• Proactively identify issues/defects/flaws in module/requirement implementation
• Assists Lead 1 - Software Engineering on Technical design. Review activities and begin demonstrating Lead 1 capabilities in making technical decisions

Additional Comments:
- Roles & Responsibilities Development and implementation of Digital experiences based on AEM product suites mainly with AEM Sites and Assets. Should be able to effectively communicate with the client to understand requirements and propose solution design etc. Design, develop and deploy components, templates, workflows etc. on the AEM platform. Should have sound understanding and experience on underlying AEM technologies like Sling, Felix and JCR Oak. Setup and configure AEM authoring, publish, and dispatcher environment with Adobe recommended best practices. Integrate AEM with other marketing products like Assets, Forms, Target, Campaign, and other internal endpoints. Should be able to mentor and guide folks within the team. Integrate with front-end technologies and frameworks. Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks/libraries (jQuery, Grunt, Bootstrap etc.), and CSS is a plus. Experience with Continuous Integration and related tools (Jenkins/Cruise Control/Maven/GitHub) is preferred. Key Skills Required Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Experience Platform, OSGi, Apache Sling, Apache Sightly. Preferred Qualifications and Experience 4+ years of AEM experience with at least several full cycles of AEM implementation Experience in design, development, integration and deployment of digital consumer experiences with AEM Platform.
