### Role description


o Should be expert of anyone of these Postgres/Oracle/DB2 database system. o Create the objects in the database, such as triggers, indexes, etc. o Monitor the performance of the database and ensure optimum performance. o Identify potential issues in the database to solve them early. o Create regular backups and recovery plans as per best industry practices. o Should have knowledge of Backup, Performance Tuning, Data Modelling, Analytics o Knowledge of Disaster recovery principles and practices, including planning, testing, backup/restore o Designing and implementing extraction, transformation, and loading data pipelines o Working closely with data analysts on the ETL process Responsibilities & Skills o Minimum of 4+ years of experience as a Database Administrator. o Proficiency in MSSQL, CosmosDB, and PostgreSQL. o Strong understanding of database security, backup, and recovery processes. o Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. o Ability to work independently and as part of a team. o Monitor database performance and implement changes to optimize performance. o Ensure data integrity and security across all database systems. o Perform regular database backups and recovery operations. o Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database solutions. o Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner. o Document database configurations, processes, and procedures o Knowledge of automation tools for database management and monitoring. o Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for database automation tasks. o Experience in DevOps environments and integrating databases into CI/CD pipelines. o AWS Migration from one Region to Another Region o Experience with external tools for data migration.
