Role description

Role Proficiency:



Independently develops error free code with high quality validation of applications guides other developers and assists Lead 1 - Software Engineering



Outcomes:



Understand and provide input to the application/feature/component designs; developing the same in accordance with user stories/requirements.

Code debug test document and communicate product/component/features at development stages.

Select appropriate technical options for development such as reusing improving or reconfiguration of existing components.

Optimise efficiency cost and quality by identifying opportunities for automation/process improvements and agile delivery models

Mentor Developer 1 - Software Engineering and Developer 2 - Software Engineering to effectively perform in their roles

Identify the problem patterns and improve the technical design of the application/system

Proactively identify issues/defects/flaws in module/requirement implementation

Assists Lead 1 - Software Engineering on Technical design. Review activities and begin demonstrating Lead 1 capabilities in making technical decisions

Experience in Redux will be preferred, at least theoretical knowledge or should be able/ready to learn it on the job Must demonstrate leadership ability and team-building skills to effectively manage professional and non-professional staff and interact with all levels of management Ability to work with and empower others on a collaborative basis to ensure success of unit team. Must have a bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline The candidate must understand the best practices and have experience in entire software development life cycle. The candidate should be able to design, develop and maintain highly available, responsive and scalable solution. The successful candidate is collaborative, organized with ability to multitask; detail oriented and highly motivated who could help achieve project goals and timelines. Should be able to work independently with analytical mindset Preferred Skills : In addition, knowledge in any of the following is a plus: cloud and data platform like AWS, Bit bucket and rally. Responsibilities : The Java developer will be responsible for design, development and maintenance of software products Analyze business requirements and generate UML designs to meet these requirements Track software development trends and provide peers with reports on these trends Ability to set and achieve goals and objectives with little supervision Ability to prioritize and to work well in an environment with changing priorities Ability to communicate well with management within the development group and with key members of the marketing and product management teams Manage and meet product schedules Embraces New Technologies Detail Oriented Team Player
