We are seeking a skilled ETL Developer with extensive experience in Talend to join our CoreSuite Workers Compensation Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data integration, transformation, and migration, with a focus on optimizing data processes and ensuring data quality.

  • ETL Development: Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Talend to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses and other systems.
  • Data Integration: Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop integration solutions.
  • Data Quality: Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data by implementing robust data validation and cleansing processes.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize ETL workflows to improve performance and efficiency, including monitoring and troubleshooting ETL jobs.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for ETL processes, data flows, and data models.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
  • Compliance: Ensure ETL processes comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements, particularly those relevant to workers\' compensation data.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in ETL development and data integration, and apply them to enhance existing processes.
What to Have for this position:Must have Skills:-
  • Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in ETL development, with at least 2 years of experience specifically using Talend.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Talend Data Integration, Talend Data Quality, and Talend Big Data. Strong SQL skills and experience with database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
  • Domain Knowledge: Understanding of workers\' compensation data and related processes is a plus.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Team Player: Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
Good to have skills:-
  • Certifications: Talend certification(s) and other relevant data integration or ETL certifications.
  • Tools & Technologies: Experience with other ETL tools, and added advantage if we have experience in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure etc.).
  • Project Management: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
