Java Spring Boot Kafka Microservice Developer Activities
- Designing, developing, and implementing high-quality microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design scalable and efficient microservice architecture.
- Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code for microservices, adhering to coding standards.
- Integrating microservices with Kafka for event-driven architecture and ensuring reliability and scalability.
- Implementing RESTful APIs and ensuring proper communication between microservices.
- Conducting unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to ensure robustness and reliability of microservices.
- Troubleshooting and debugging issues in production and providing timely resolution.
- Working on continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for efficient delivery of microservices.
- Participating in code reviews, providing constructive feedback, and contributing to the improvement of development processes.
Skills/ Experience
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka for developing microservices.
- Experience in designing and implementing scalable and high-performance microservice architectures.
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture and hands-on experience with Kafka for message queuing.
- Proficiency in building RESTful APIs and integrating microservices.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Understanding of software development best practices, including test-driven development (TDD) and continuous integration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a distributed system.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with GenAI tools like GitHub Copilot.
