Job Description


Role: Desktop Support Admin.Experience: 2-3 YearsLocation: Bangalore, Anubhava( Chikkajala,New Airport Road)Notice Period: Immediate to 30 DaysJob Summary:
As a Desktop Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining, supporting,
and troubleshooting desktop computing environments within our organization.
You will work closely with end-users to provide technical assistance, resolve
issues, and ensure optimal functionality of desktop systems and related
peripherals. Additionally, you will play a key role in implementing and enforcing
desktop security measures, software installations, and system upgrades to
enhance productivity and efficiency across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktop hardware,
software, and peripherals.
Install, configure, and maintain desktop operating systems (e.g.,
Windows, macOS) and applications.
Ensure desktop systems are up-to-date with security patches, antivirus
software, and system updates.
Collaborate with the IT team to implement and enforce desktop security
policies and procedures.
Assist with the setup and deployment of new desktops, laptops, and
mobile devices.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights by company
policies.
Respond to and resolve desktop-related support tickets promptly.
Document and maintain accurate records of desktop configurations,
procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Provide training and guidance to end-users on desktop-related topics and
best practices.
Coordinate with vendors and external service providers for desktop
hardware repairs and maintenance.
Conduct regular inventory checks of desktop hardware and software
assets.
Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and
interoperability of desktop systems with network infrastructure and other
IT services.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends related to
desktop computing.
Participate in IT projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related
field (preferred).
Proven experience as a Desktop Administrator or similar role.
Proficiency in administering desktop operating systems such as Windows
and macOS. Knowledge of desktop hardware components, peripherals, and
troubleshooting techniques.
Experience with desktop management tools and remote desktop support
software.
Familiarity with desktop security best practices, antivirus software, and
endpoint protection solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced
environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop
Support Technician) are a plus.
