Job Description
Creating Passion: Your Responsibilities
- CAD metadata documentation
- Clearance check on existing parts / assembly
- Digital Mock-up maintenance and optimization
- PLM management (BOM creation, lifecycle promotion, etc)
- Design and optimization of components, assemblies and systems
- 3D drafting of components assemblies with CAD system including surface modelling (casting parts)
- Creation of 2D drawings with GD&T
- Creation of 2D and 3D visualisations for clarifying technical content
- Setting up technical presentations
- Interdisciplinary cooperation with the corresponding departments within the project environment
- Cooperation with component suppliers for the clarification of technical properties of components and common component development (co-design)
- Patent analysis
- Know-how capitalization - implementing technical guidelines
- Successfully completed studies in the field of mechanical design / automotive
- Experience in design in a combustion engine related field is a benefit
- Knowledge of MS Office/PTC Creo /ERP System/PLM Albatros
- Autonomous, committed and flexible with structured/organized work ethic
- Ability to work in a multicultural team with good social skills
- Ability to innovate
- Goal driven
- Basic technical knowledge of combustion engine (diesel at least, Gasoline and/or Hydrogen is a plus)
- Basic understanding of simulation results (1D, CFD, FEA, NVH)
- Surface modelling on CAD
