Overview:


As a Design Lead within our design and build studio, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the creative direction and overseeing the design process for various projects. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and impactful designs that meet client requirements and exceed expectations. Your expertise in design principles, project management, and team leadership will be essential in driving the success of our projects and maintaining the high standards of our studio.


Responsibilities:


1. Creative Direction: Provide vision and direction for design projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives, brand guidelines, and project goals.


2. Team Leadership: Lead a team of designers and collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to execute projects from concept to completion.


3. Design Oversight:Review and provide feedback on design concepts, sketches, and prototypes to ensure quality, coherence, and adherence to project specifications.


4. Project Management: Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to deliver projects on time and within budget constraints.


5. Client Collaboration:Engage with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and feedback, and translate requirements into actionable design strategies.


6. Research and Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and design innovations to infuse creativity and innovation into our projects.


7. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality checks on deliverables to ensure they meet design standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.


8. Communication: Foster open communication channels within the team and with clients to facilitate collaboration, address concerns, and resolve conflicts effectively.


9. Mentorship and Development: Provide guidance, mentorship, and skill development opportunities to team members to foster their growth and enhance their design capabilities.


Requirements:


1. Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Architecture .Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree preferred.


2. Proven experience ( 5 years) in a design leadership role within a design and build studio or similar environment.


3. Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects (commercial), including conceptualization, design development, and implementation.


4. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.


5. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.


6. Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and deliver exceptional results.


7. In-depth knowledge of design principles, construction techniques, and materials.


8. Project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and allocate resources effectively.


9. Creative thinking, problem-solving ability, and a passion for innovation in design.


10. Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and client preferences.
