Designation: Design Estimation Engineer
Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and estimate static equipment with a thorough understanding of ASME Section X code.
• Apply knowledge of pressure vessel codes, reactors, heat exchangers, and relevant ASTM codes and standards.
• Interpret and work with international material codes (IS, BS) and read PID, PFD, 3D models, and isometric drawings.
• Assist the sales team by preparing bill of quantities for accurate estimation.
• Guide draughtsman in preparing and checking drawings, obtaining client approvals, and creating cross-sectional drawings.
• Prepare and issue fabrication drawings to the workshop, ensuring updates with the latest revisions.
• Maintain compliance with ISO standards, ASME U-stamp codes, and manage safety, operation, and instruction manuals.
• Develop and submit procedures for manufacturing and testing methods for client approvals.
• Coordinate with internal and external agencies for design approvals, including seismic calculations, 3D models, and isometric drawings.
• Lead and mentor a team of draughtsman to effectively achieve company targets by monitoring and optimizing their efforts.

Key Skills: Required Skills:

• Proficient in static equipment design, estimation, and ASME Section X code compliance.
• Strong knowledge of ASTM standards, pressure vessel codes, and fabrication processes.
• Expertise in reading and interpreting PID, PFD, 3D, and isometric drawings.
• Experienced in coordinating and reviewing bill of quantities for sales estimations.
• Skilled in team leadership, mentoring, and time management for draughtsman teams.
• Familiarity with ISO, ASME U-stamp standards, and safety manuals.
• Strong documentation skills for creating procedures and managing revisions.
• Effective communication and collaboration with internal teams, clients, and external agencies.
