Job Title: Design Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and innovative Design Engineer specializing in the manufacturing of bridge bearings and joints. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing products and systems to meet the highest standards of quality and performance in the fabrication industry.

Key Responsibilities:
1: Develop and design bridge bearings, joints, and related components based on customer
requirements and industry standards.
2: Create detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing and assembly processes.
3: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, production, and quality
assurance, to ensure successful product development and launch.
4: Conduct design reviews, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to identify potential issues and optimize designs.
5: Perform simulations, prototyping, and testing to validate design concepts and ensure functionality and reliability.
6: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices in bridge
bearing and joint design.
7: Provide technical support and guidance to production teams during the manufacturing process.
8: Continuously improve and innovate design processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in product design and development, preferably in the fabrication industry

or manufacturing.

• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other design tools.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with

stakeholders.

• Project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations for bridge bearings and joints.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in a related field.
• Experience with advanced simulation and analysis tools (e.g., FEA, CFD).
• Certification in design engineering or related areas.
• Experience with quality assurance and testing procedures.
