Responsibilities

This role is to work as part of a Cates Design International team to support the delivery of projects. This role will be working under the supervision of a senior or project engineer to carry out the following functions:

• Produce engineering calculations, designs, details, and calculation reports as per the project requirements.
• Organize and undertake technical calculations to industry standards in conjunction with team members; supervise the work of team members to ensure the delegated work is completed to deadlines/standards and report to the project leader any issues, risks, or client changes
• Responding to RFI's and reviewing relevant submittals.
• Raise the level of technical competence within the teams
• Act as an engineer, sparring, and/or QA reviewer on projects, also ensuring the delivery of the project on time
• Develop a positive professional relationship with the CATES USA Team, communicating openly about project progress
• Participate in team meetings, disseminate information within the team, and communicate with other teams in CATES
• Assist colleagues to ensure team timelines are met
• Complete timesheet accurately ahead of weekly deadlines

Qualifications

• M.Tech (Structural Engineering)
• Experience:0-2 years
• Applicants need to be able to demonstrate good communication and technical skills and be capable of working both within the team and independently, as dictated by workload.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the design of RCC, steel, precast, and composite structures.
• Working knowledge of US codes of practice and US projects.
• Expertise in RAM Concept, RAM Structural System, RISA.
• Understanding of seismic design of structures including performance-based design.
• Wood design.
• Knowledge of REVIT Structure will be preferred, but not essential.
• Fluency in English with an excellent understanding of technical terminology.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
