Job Overview This role requires a talented Design Engineer with expertise in Solid Edge. As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and modifying 2D and 3D CAD models, preparing technical drawings, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative designs. This is a mid-level position with a requirement of 4 to 6 years of experience. The job is based in Satara, Maharashtra, India and is a full-time role. Qualifications And Skills Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience of 4 to 6 years as a Design Engineer, preferably with expertise in Solid Edge. Strong proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD modeling using Solid Edge software. Good knowledge of GD&T and engineering standards. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials is a plus. Experience in product development and design optimization is desirable. Roles And Responsibilities Design and develop 2D and 3D CAD models using Solid Edge software. Create detailed technical drawings based on design specifications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, and Manufacturing teams, to ensure design accuracy and feasibility. Participate in design reviews and contribute to design improvements. Perform design analysis and validation to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements. Identify and resolve design issues or manufacturing challenges to optimize product performance and cost-effectiveness. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in CAD technologies. Support the implementation of new design processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
