We are dedicated to bring the next generation of autonomous vehicles, smart cities and connectivity to life.Aptiv Connection Systems, Chennai Engineering Center in Chennai, India established in 2001 catering complete product development solutions right from concept design till validation testing to global OEMs. Located in Chennai city, the southern part of India which is known as automotive hub of India.POSITION SUMMARY:To support the Part Number Assignment (PNA) activities, E-catalog & Web inquiries.MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES TO BE ACCOMPLISHED:

• Responsible for analyzing and verification of part number allocation request.
• Collection of necessary information and allocation of part numbers as per request.
• Drawing preparation and checking.
• Monitor and maintain product data such as BOM and it\xe2\x80\x99s attributes as per the latest drawing revision.
• Closing the requests as per the set deadlines.
• Managing product information (PIM) for the online catalog.
• Managing online inquiries from various clients.

EDUCATION

• Diploma / Bachelors in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering streams .

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• 1 to 3 years of experience in data processing, conversion and migration activities with knowledge in product design from the connector / automotive background.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

• Good product knowledge.
• Good drawing reading skills.
• Good knowledge in database structure (PDM exposure).
• Good skills in data collection and processing.
• Good skills in MS- Office functions.
• Excellent English communication skills.
